I forgot to mention. The monitor is wasted on the VGA connector and the project also has a DVI-I port.

Depending on your graphics card. Somewhere there is a setting in the port driver of the graphics card, allows TV to go. Once this is done below. You need a headset with RCA jacks for the sound between the TV and sound card. For video, S-Video Male to RCA male-female work.
